Encouraging Signs Across the Church

Even in uncertain times, we are seeing encouraging signs of growth and unity across the Body of Christ. More people are engaging with the Gospel through digital platforms and Christian broadcasting, reaching those who may not yet step inside a church but are spiritually hungry for truth.

Churches are working more closely together, sharing resources, serving communities and advancing the message of Christ beyond traditional walls. It is a reminder that God is still building His Church, and His voice is still reaching hearts.

Across many nations, the Church is rediscovering both its confidence and its calling.

Let us pray:

Lord, we thank You for what You are doing across Your Church in this season. Strengthen every ministry, encourage every leader and empower every believer to walk in obedience to Your Word. Use Your Church as a light in every community and let lives be transformed through faithful service and bold proclamation of the Gospel.

May we remain united in purpose, steadfast in truth and surrendered to Your will.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Remembering Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr. (1941–2026)

The Christian community recently marked the passing of Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr., who entered eternal rest on 17th February 2026 at the age of 84. An ordained Baptist minister and advocate for justice, he devoted his life to reconciliation, dignity and service, living out his faith with courage and conviction.

As we honour his legacy, we give thanks for a life faithfully poured out and trust that he now rests in the eternal presence of God, having heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

A Call to Prayer for the Nations

As tensions rise in parts of the world, including Iran, and as leaders in the United Kingdom, the United States and other nations navigate complex global decisions, we are reminded that our ultimate hope is not in governments, but in God.

Scripture calls us to pray for those in authority and to seek peace wherever there is unrest.

Let us pray:

Father God,
We lift up the nation of Iran, asking for Your peace, protection and mercy over its people.
We pray for President Trump, for the UK government, and for leaders across the world – grant them wisdom, restraint and discernment in every decision they make.
May justice be guided by compassion, and power be tempered by humility.
Lord, let Your peace rule in the nations and let Your Church shine as a light in uncertain times.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Season of Reflection, Hope and Resurrection Power

As we journey through Lent, which began on Ash Wednesday (18th February), leads the Church towards Easter Sunday (5th April), and draw nearer to the celebration of Easter, we are reminded that this is not merely a date on the calendar it is a divine invitation.

• An invitation to draw closer.
• An invitation to consecrate our hearts.
• An invitation to remember the sacrifice of Christ and the triumph of His resurrection power.

Across the Church, believers are setting aside time for prayer, fasting and deeper study of the Word. In a world that feels uncertain and ever-shifting, this sacred season calls us back to what is unshakeable the finished work of the Cross and the living hope we have in Jesus.

Lent is not only about reflection; it is about preparation. As we quieten our hearts before the Lord, He renews our strength, realigns our focus and restores vision. In moments of stillness, faith is strengthened. In surrender, fresh grace is released. And as we approach Easter, we do so with expectation knowing that resurrection power still transforms lives today.

May this season be one of renewal in your home, revival in your spirit and fresh revelation of Christ’s love.

It is a season that reminds us that even after suffering, resurrection follows – and that through Christ, joy, restoration, and victory are promised to all who place their trust in Him.

We wish you a happy and blessed Easter, praying this season brings renewed hope, joy, and fresh strength through the risen Christ.

Closing Prayer

May this season draw us closer to Christ, renew our strength, and remind us that His light continues to shine, even in the darkest moments.
