Welcome to July’s Faith World Newsletter

“Changing the world with the Word of God”

Dear Faith World TV Family,

As we step into July, a season that is already filled with global headlines, World Cup excitement, and ongoing change in our nation, we are reminded of one unshakable truth:

Jesus Christ is Lord.

In a world that is constantly shifting, we must not waver. We are called to stand firm, to be steadfast in our faith, and to keep our eyes fixed on the cross. These are not ordinary times, they are a call to remain grounded in truth, alert in spirit, and bold in our witness.

“Therefore, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings…” – 2 Thessalonians 2:15

This is a season to stay anchored in Christ, to walk in faith, and to proclaim the message of salvation without compromise.

In this month’s newsletter, you’ll find updates on new programmes, reflections on our nation and the World Cup, and prayers to strengthen and encourage you in your walk with the Lord.

Faith, Truth, and Our Nation

Recent updates to the King’s role describe a commitment to “protect the space for faith within the multi-faith nation.” While this reflects a desire for unity across beliefs, it also marks a clear shift in how faith is positioned at the heart of our nation.

Queen Elizabeth II stood firmly and openly in her faith in Jesus Christ. As Supreme Governor of the Church of England, she did not separate her role from her belief – she spoke of Christ as her anchor, her strength, and her guide. Her life was a quiet but powerful testimony that true leadership begins with submission to God.

Today, in a culture of many voices and many truths, we must not lose sight of the one truth that remains unchanging:

Jesus Christ is Lord.

Unity is important, but it must never come at the cost of truth. The Gospel is not one of many options – it is the way, the truth, and the life.

This is not a time for the Church to dilute its message. It is a time to stand firm, to speak boldly, and to shine the light of Christ in a world that is searching.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We lift up our nation to You.

In a time of many beliefs and shifting foundations, we pray that hearts across this land would be drawn to the truth of Jesus Christ. Let those who are searching find salvation, not in ideas or religion, but in a real and personal relationship with You.

Lord, awaken this nation. Let Your truth be known, Your name be lifted high, and Your Kingdom advance across the UK.

We declare that Jesus is Lord over this land.

In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.

Christianity on the World Stage

The 2026 FIFA World Cup has been more than a global celebration of football, it has also been a powerful reminder that Christianity still has a place on the world stage.

Mexico, the United States, and Canada are hosting the tournament, which kicked off on June 11 and for the first time in history has brought together 48 national teams for a total of 104 matches.

Across the tournament, players have not been shy about giving glory to God.

After making history by reaching the knockout stages, DR Congo players gathered in the centre of the pitch in prayer, lifting their voices in thanks. Winger Joris Kayembe boldly declared, “Thank you, Jesus… God is great.”

The United States team was also seen praying together after their opening victory, led by defender Mark McKenzie, while captain Christian Pulisic continues to openly share his faith, even leading regular Bible studies with teammates.

Croatia’s squad attended church together before the tournament, and several players have spoken about the strength they draw from prayer, Scripture, and their relationship with God.

In moments of pressure, victory, and global attention, these players are pointing to something greater than the game.

It is a reminder that faith is not confined to church, it is lived out boldly in every arena.

Even on the world’s biggest stage, Jesus is being lifted high.

Let Us Pray with You

As we navigate a season of change in our nation and celebrate moments of unity through events like the World Cup, we are reminded to remain steadfast in our faith, rooted in Christ above all.

• Pray for wisdom, truth, and God’s guidance over the UK government and King Charles, that his will would be done across our nation.
• Pray for peace and protection across the Middle East, that God’s hand would bring stability where there is unrest.
• Pray that through global platforms like sport, hearts would be drawn to Christ, and His name lifted high.
• Pray for revival across the UK, that many would come to know Jesus in a real and personal way.

The Bible reminds us that through prayer we are strengthened, healed, and see lives transformed.

At Faith World TV, we are passionate about standing with you in prayer. Whatever you may be facing, whether it’s healing, financial pressure, bereavement, breakthrough, or a need for peace – you are not alone.

We would be honoured to stand alongside you and believe for God to move in your situation.
